Film scores, video game sound design, the advertisements on TV, and your favorite song on Spotify all have one thing in common: they were all produced with a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW).
Computers play a vital role in shaping the sounds we hear. In this course you'll learn and master the art of composing digital music, discovering how to create, polish, and distribute your music online. Lessons will be tailored specifically to the interests of the student.
Students will learn best practices using industry standard DAW software, study core concepts such as recording and MIDI, sound design, theory and arrangement, mixing, and mastering, then apply those concepts toward their own personal interests and goals.
